   Egyptian judoka Islam El Shehaby was 9 times African Champion 2002-2013 and he was World bronze medallist in 2010 in Tokyo. El Shehaby won 18 World Cup medals and achieved victories in Abu Dhabi, Dusseldorf, Cairo, Moscow, Qingdao and Baku. In 2016 silver at the Grand Prix in Düsseldorf.

Israel bombs indiscriminately Gaza and kills thousands of innocent civilians and the people and the news don’t flinch a nerve but Islam ElShehaby,  the Egyptian judoka refuses to shake hands with the Israeli jydoka and the whole world is raising hands to the sky calling him all types of prerogatives in the name of the Olympics spirit.

Unbelievable that sports’s rules seems to be more important than human rights and human lives
The bigotry and hypocrisy of the media is out of control when Israel is in the middle. The double standards are  blatantly sickening.
Non even one news outlet explored the other side of the story,  why El Shehaby refused to shake hands with an Israeli? Not a single news outlet raised the question. Nobody mentioned not even once that the International community are boycotting Israel including actors, academics, musicians, sportsmen and an even bigger number of humanitarians that are engaged in the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions against Israel besides the point that Israel and Egypt are sworn enemies since 1948 that Israel was impossed in the heart of the Middle East.

Israel and Egypt have fought four wars and Egypt didn’t have diplomatic relations with Israel  until 1978 when the boycott ended when Egyptian President Anwar Sadat signed a peace treaty with Israel in exchange for the devolution of the Sinai Peninsula that Israel have taken in 1967 treaty that was negociated in secret.
There is no news of the animosity between the two countries and El Shehaby hold legitimate sentiments against Israel.
Why is that the whole world have to bow to the Zionist entity? Why the media have to worry for Israel’s sensitivities and never questions Israel atrocities against the Palestinian people.

I’m so tired of the response I hear even from Palestinians and Palestinian supporters being so worry for ‘the Olympics spirit’ by the ‘sportsmanship’ but they forgetting that humany is more important than a game more important than the whole apparatus of the Olympics.

This was the moment when the world would have hve spoken at unison against Israel war crimes, against its disregard for International law, about its atrocities committed every day against the Palestinians, about the demolition if homes, tbe nightly raids kidnapping children, the political prisoners,  but what I saw that 90 percent of the people and all media condemned El Shehaby,   everybody was sway away by the wave of commentaries against El Shehaby and his rudness against the Israeli. But if you are informed and educated of the situation in Occupied Palestine you know that all Israelis have blood in their hands and if they haven’t killed a Palestinian at least they are guilty of humiliate them and makind their life impossible. But they are most guilty of living in stolen land and living comfortable on the other side of the line with all the water and comfort the Israeli offers them but deny to the Palestinians.
Why the media does not link the refusal of the shake hand with the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions that is trying to pressure Israel to comply with the more than 300 United Nations resolutions that pertain to Palestine. #BDS means boycott at all levels
Israel shouldn’t be allowed to participate in the Olympics. Israel doesn’t deserve respect as long as it doesn’t respect the lives of the Palestinians.
