How many generations came and go in Palestine. Palestine is known for more than 50 years as the Occupied Territories.
I grew up listening to the fightings in the OT, in the afternoon local news channel 7, and the other option was the national channel 12.
The Mexican schedule program was Venezuelan and Mexican soap operas to keep housewives entertrained in love affairs and family disputes.
The other entertainment segment that I remember was Siempre en Domingo” with Raul Velazco,” where he launched the musical careers of those chosen ones by the industry. Remember Gloria Trevi, Crystal, boquitas pintadas, Lucerito, and their monster, Sergio Andrade. Mexicans actors had their own Me too, monster Harvey Weinstein.
Plaza Sesamo was the educational segment for children and many cartoon programs: Señorita Cometa, Mounstros del Espacio, Batman y Robin, Archie, Tom y Jerry, El correcamitos, Speedy Gonzalez y Meteoro
Benign on the surface, every single one of these cartoons was about violence. This is how we grew up. And we wonder why we live in a violent world?
Nothing has changed. In fact, the next generations of entertainment got more violent. The movie and gaming industry infiltrated our kid’s minds with their strategic programming of violence.
The heroes are nothing more than agrandized bullies. They are set in a fantasy of heroic battles.
Specially, Holocaust movies designed to portray Jews as victims. Taken those victims as an excuse to exterminate an entire population. To ethnic cleanse the Palestinians.
