The world that we inherited from men, who gave themselves the power to be the only ones to think-do-undo-create, and destroy is already in shreds.
Gail, we are in times of great changes, nothing stop us from writing beautiful poetry, amazing inspirational texts, and to write and shape history. Specially, to make changes in the political arena.

We all have the power to leave our print as a testimony for the future generations.

The veil of ignorance is falling so rapidly, that men can’t hold it anymore. Because was ignorance, plane and simple ignorance that made our world to be the way we find it now.

And I don’t doubt it, that jealousy of men toward women’s ability to create was to blame for the development of events in history. Jealousy that blind them, and set up to trap women in their life of servitude, abusing their physical power they subdued women to live under their domain.
But, like I said, it’s no more. We have the power of the pen reigning freely. We have the power of our thoughts that refuse to be restrained.
Not that other women in the past not attempted it, we saw what happened of them.

They were burnt at the stake. They were discredited (Maria Magdalene) They were decapitated (Maria Antonieta,) they were put in solitary confinement in towers, tortured during the inquisition, and other tragic endings recorded in history.
But no more!, knowledge is power and it is free again, and so we are.

“You shall bear children in intense pain and suffering; yet even so, you shall welcome your husband’s affections, and he shall be your master.” Genesis 3:16

Reading this verse from Genesis, allows my mind to explore other possibilities.
To analyze the other possibilities. We have to read Genesis 1:28 -And God blessed them and told them, “Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals”.
As I read Genesis the idea strike me that, maybe, just maybe, the story is not complete, because if God commanded Adam and Eve to multiply, this off course before they ate the “forbidden fruit”, they did not did so. So, in Chapter 5:1 of Genesis, “Here are SOME of the descendants of Adam, the men who were like God, from the day of his creation.
Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born.
Seth born after Cain and Abel, meaning that, when Adam and Eve, disobeyed God, let me say again Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the Forbidden fruit, which was not other but having sex. The forbidden fruit is sex. Before Adam and Eve had any sex, Adam was “like God from the day of his creation”, they could have created, “multiply” the earth without sex.
But by having sex they lost the powers of the Gods, now to multiply they were cursed to have sex and to bear the child with pain. Adam lost his God-like power having to have sex since that day on to multiply, but as a curse “you shall bear children in intense pain and suffering”.
And again why the curse was not put on Adam? mmmm, very interesting that Adam being as God, could not resist the beautiful offering of Eve? It is strange since the beginning, that God was misogynistic and showed clearly in his curse against Eve.
Now going back again to the other possibilities, When in Genesis 1;28 God commanded them to “multiply”, or, they disobeyed and did not multiply when they were blessed, or the story is incomplete and the sons and daughters that were born without pain were mistakenly forgotten to mention in Genesis.
As I read the subsequent lines of Genesis I realize that Adam and Eve, indeed keep having sex after they were expelled from paradise, and before, when Cain and Abel born in the first 130 years before falling of paradise

But then we have the Hebrew version of Cain “Adam knew his wife Eve intimately, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain. She said, “I have had a male child with the LORD’s help”, again another mmmmm. So according to the oldest text, Cain was not son of Adam, but son of the Lord, The God himself who created Adam in the first place, the God that made Adam “like God”, with the ability to create. So why, does God takes away the powers and send them out to wander and suffer the mundane life of a human. All because Adam has sex with Eve?..Eve that bear Cain the son of God?
I always wonder why the Catholic Church will baptize the children. “To clean the original sin”, The original sin which was to born out of a sex relation, the fruit of sin- eating the forbidden fruit- and not from the original master piece that God did, making a living specie out of the ground.
The story makes more sense, instead of the Apple, “One apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
the interpretations and symbolism given to the stories to fit a boxed mind it is extraordinarily naive for today standards thoughts.
The story get darker and darker, but I don’t want to digress from my original thought. Which was…..
History is His Story…So Gail, we need to write the real story, not his-story, not her-story, not their-story, but the story of humanity as a whole, from everyone’s point of view included, with best interest in mind for all of us, the humans on earth.
And sorry, human word, using the man which mean ground, and humus meaning earth.
So human was a name given to the specie that was formed on earth from the ground, well off course all these according to interpretation of men who were in charge of history, literature and important developments on earth..
The point I m making here Gail Baker, is that our world is full of interpretations, specially the interpretation of the male version of his-story, but the good news is that we can write story as well, and we have the internet to raise awareness.
