We are doctors and scientists, who spend our lives developing means to care and protect health and lives. We are also informed people; we teach the ethics of our professions, together with the knowledge and practice of it. We all have worked in and known the situation of Gaza for years.
On the basis of our ethics and practice, we are denouncing what we witness in the aggression of Gaza by Israel.
We ask our colleagues, old and young professionals, to denounce this Israeli aggression. We challenge the perversity of a propaganda that justifies the creation of an emergency to masquerade a massacre, a so-called “defensive aggression”. In reality it is a ruthless assault of unlimited duration, extent, and intensity. We wish to report the facts as we see them and their implications on the lives of the people.
We are appalled by the military onslaught on civilians in Gaza under the guise of punishing terrorists. This is the third large scale military assault on Gaza since 2008. Each time the death toll is borne mainly by innocent people in Gaza, especially women and children under the unacceptable pretext of Israel eradicating political parties and resistance to the occupation and siege they impose.
This action also terrifies those who are not directly hit, and wounds the soul, mind, and resilience of the young generation. Our condemnation and disgust are further compounded by the denial and prohibition for Gaza to receive external help and supplies to alleviate the dire circumstances.
The blockade on Gaza has tightened further since last year and this has worsened the toll on Gaza’s population. In Gaza, people suffer from hunger, thirst, pollution, shortage of medicines, electricity, and any means to get an income, not only by being bombed and shelled. Power crisis, gasoline shortage, water and food scarcity, sewage outflow and ever decreasing resources are disasters caused directly and indirectly by the siege.1
People in Gaza are resisting this aggression because they want a better and normal life and, even while crying in sorrow, pain, and terror, they reject a temporary truce that does not provide a real chance for a better future. A voice under the attacks in Gaza is that of Um Al Ramlawi who speaks for all in Gaza: “They are killing us all anyway—either a slow death by the siege, or a fast one by military attacks. We have nothing left to lose—we must fight for our rights, or die trying.”2
Gaza has been blockaded by sea and land since 2006. Any individual of Gaza, including fishermen venturing beyond 3 nautical miles of the coast of Gaza, face being shot by the Israeli Navy. No one from Gaza can leave from the only two checkpoints, Erez or Rafah, without special permission from the Israelis and the Egyptians, which is hard to come by for many, if not impossible. People in Gaza are unable to go abroad to study, work, visit families, or do business. Wounded and sick people cannot leave easily to get specialized treatment outside Gaza. Entries of food and medicines into Gaza have been restricted and many essential items for survival are prohibited.3 Before the present assault, medical stock items in Gaza were already at an all time low because of the blockade.3 They have run out now. Likewise, Gaza is unable to export its produce. Agriculture has been severely impaired by the imposition of a buffer zone, and agricultural products cannot be exported due to the blockade. 80% of Gaza’s population is dependent on food rations from the UN.
Much of Gaza’s buildings and infrastructure had been destroyed during Operation Cast Lead, 2008—09, and building materials have been blockaded so that schools, homes, and institutions cannot be properly rebuilt. Factories destroyed by bombardment have rarely been rebuilt adding unemployment to destitution.
Despite the difficult conditions, the people of Gaza and their political leaders have recently moved to resolve their conflicts “without arms and harm” through the process of reconciliation between factions, their leadership renouncing titles and positions, so that a unity government can be formed abolishing the divisive factional politics operating since 2007. This reconciliation, although accepted by many in the international community, was rejected by Israel. The present Israeli attacks stop this chance of political unity between Gaza and the West Bank and single out a part of the Palestinian society by destroying the lives of people of Gaza. Under the pretext of eliminating terrorism, Israel is trying to destroy the growing Palestinian unity. Among other lies, it is stated that civilians in Gaza are hostages of Hamas whereas the truth is that the Gaza Strip is sealed by the Israelis and Egyptians.
Gaza has been bombed continuously for the past 14 days followed now by invasion on land by tanks and thousands of Israeli troops. More than 60 000 civilians from Northern Gaza were ordered to leave their homes. These internally displaced people have nowhere to go since Central and Southern Gaza are also subjected to heavy artillery bombardment. The whole of Gaza is under attack. The only shelters in Gaza are the schools of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), uncertain shelters already targeted during Cast Lead, killing many.
According to Gaza Ministry of Health and UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA),1 as of July 21, 149 of the 558 killed in Gaza and 1100 of the 3504 wounded are children. Those buried under the rubble are not counted yet. As we write, the BBC reports of the bombing of another hospital, hitting the intensive care unit and operating theatres, with deaths of patients and staff. There are now fears for the main hospital Al-Shifa. Moreover, most people are psychologically traumatized in Gaza. Anyone older than 6 years has already lived through their third military assault by Israel.
The massacre in Gaza spares no one, and includes the disabled and sick in hospitals, children playing on the beach or on the roof top, with a large majority of non-combatants. Hospitals, clinics, ambulances, mosques, schools, and press buildings have all been attacked, with thousands of private homes bombed, clearly directing fire to target whole families killing them within their homes, depriving families of their homes by chasing them out a few minutes before destruction. An entire area was destroyed on July 20, leaving thousands of displaced people homeless, beside wounding hundreds and killing at least 70—this is way beyond the purpose of finding tunnels. None of these are military objectives. These attacks aim to terrorize, wound the soul and the body of the people, and make their life impossible in the future, as well as also demolishing their homes and prohibiting the means to rebuild.
Weaponry known to cause long-term damages on health of the whole population are used; particularly non fragmentation weaponry and hard-head bombs.4, 5 We witnessed targeted weaponry used indiscriminately and on children and we constantly see that so-called intelligent weapons fail to be precise, unless they are deliberately used to destroy innocent lives.
We denounce the myth propagated by Israel that the aggression is done caring about saving civilian lives and children’s well-being.
Israel’s behavior has insulted our humanity, intelligence, and dignity as well as our professional ethics and efforts. Even those of us who want to go and help are unable to reach Gaza due to the blockade.
This “defensive aggression” of unlimited duration, extent, and intensity must be stopped.
Additionally, should the use of gas be further confirmed, this is unequivocally a war crime for which, before anything else, high sanctions will have to be taken immediately on Israel with cessation of any trade and collaborative agreements with Europe.
As we write, other massacres and threats to the medical personnel in emergency services and denial of entry for international humanitarian convoys are reported.6 We as scientists and doctors cannot keep silent while this crime against humanity continues. We urge readers not to be silent too. Gaza trapped under siege, is being killed by one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated modern military machines. The land is poisoned by weapon debris, with consequences for future generations. If those of us capable of speaking up fail to do so and take a stand against this war crime, we are also complicit in the destruction of the lives and homes of 1·8 million people in Gaza.
We register with dismay that only 5% of our Israeli academic colleagues signed an appeal to their government to stop the military operation against Gaza. We are tempted to conclude that with the exception of this 5%, the rest of the Israeli academics are complicit in the massacre and destruction of Gaza. We also see the complicity of our countries in Europe and North America in this massacre and the impotence once again of the international institutions and organizations to stop this massacre.

A slow genocide have been taken place in Gaza since Israel placed an illegal blockade of the Strip in 2007, not that it has been better for Palestinians before 2007. Since Israel was created in the minds of the Zionist Organization in 1897, Jews gangs were hired by the British elite and they started the campaign of harassing Palestinians preparing the land for the new arrivals of Jews that starting coming sin the 1900’s. Then when physically and officially Israel was installed in Palestine in 1948 the situation has been from bad to worst.
Now, with this latest assault in Gaza, where the most horrific war crimes has been committed against an entire population with as today July 23, 2014, more than 625 person killed and 4000 maimed by aerial and sea bombardment, and tank shells, many , mosques, hospitals and residential building razed to the ground.
Nights are the worst. That is when the bombing escalates. Nowhere is safe. Not a mosque. Not a church. Not a school, or even a hospital. All are potential targets, said Mohammed Omer, from the New York Times
Gaza is an enclave in the Mediterranean Sea with almost 2 millions inhabitants that had been forced to live out of hand outs from UNRAW which it is supported by the International Community Donations.
The illegal commercial and humanitarian siege placed by Israel and enforced in part by Egypt had put Gaza at the verge of collapsing the infrastructure of the civil administration, and impoverished the entire population to the lowest standard of living.
The only electrical plant have been functioning with petrol donated by Arab leaders, as the local government refuses to let Israeli oil to be bought to Gaza. It is a matter of moral and political principles not to support the economy of the entity that stole their land, made them refugees and keep them isolated and oppressed.
The international community needs to step their efforts to end immediately Gaza siege, siege that is causing the worse humanitarian crisis in the 21 century.
Thanks to all the International community of social and peace activists that have supported Gaza throughout the convoys bringing humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza and to all the voices raising awareness on Israel crimes.
Avaaz.org We demand that Intl. Criminal Court & UN charge Benjamin Netanyahu & Israel for War Crimes against Humanity.
We the citizens of the world demand that Benjamin Netanyahu as person and Israel as the apartheid state is put on trial along with all the evidences that prove it to be a country responsible for terrible war crimes against humanity and people of Palestine in general.
Only in the first three weeks of the genocide by Israel, they used over 17 000 tons of rockets and bombs, martyred 1967, from which 1600 were civilians, 371 children, 10000+ civilians injured and over 500 000 people made homeless.
MoveOn Tell @WhiteHouse & @JohnKerry: End Gaza War and Lift Blockade Petition by Abir “Abby” Elzowidi
The Obama Administration and Congress should use all means at their disposal to end the war and lift the economic blockade in Gaza. The U.S., Israel, and Egypt should trade a permanent end to rockets and other attacks from Gaza for a permanent end to Israeli and Egyptian restrictions on Gaza’s economy and on the movement of Palestinians into and out of Gaza.
AVAAZ.ORG GAZA: FULL CEASEFIRE, END THE BLOCKADE
Petition to the UN Security Council, the European Union, the Arab League and the USA:
We urge you to act immediately to ensure a comprehensive ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, to protect civilians on all sides, and to address the growing humanitarian crisis. Only through robust international action and oversight can the bloodshed be stopped, the Gaza crossings safely re-opened and real progress made toward a wider peace in 2009.
Causes.com Bring an end to the violence between Israel and Gaza
Innocent people are being traumatized, injured, and killed every day. This must end!
IPetitions Gaza – CeaseFire Now
CEASEFIRE NOW! The escalation in and around the Gaza Strip is causing terrible suffering to people – to men, women, elderly and children, Palestinian as well as Israeli civilians. The military offensive conducted by the Israeli armed forces has so far caused hundreds of Palestinian casualties; majority of them were unarmed civilians.
The siege and economic blockade have reduced most of the Gaza Strip’s population to abject poverty, devastated its economy, and caused the death of critically ill patients, denied access to vital treatment. The Palestinian attacks on Sderot have severely traumatized its population, far beyond the physical casualties caused among them. This is not a conflict between two equal forces. The most powerful army in the Middle East, backed by the world’s single remaining super-power, is daily using tanks, fighter planes, helicopters and gunships against the lightly-armed militias and overcrowded population of a small area whose people have lived under occupation and in poverty long before the present siege. Yet the individuals caught in the fighting are all suffering – on both sides of the fighting, among both peoples. The pain of living in daily fear, of being wounded and mutilated for life, of grieving for the loss of loved ones, is the same pain – whether one’s country be oppressed or oppressor, occupied or occupier, rich or poor, powerful or powerless. The attacks on both sides of the border feed on each other and intensify each other. Palestinians in Gaza, rightly feeling themselves still living under occupation despite the Israeli ‘disengagement’, seek to resist occupation, but when some use launching of rockets against civilians, they manage only to provide an additional justification for tightening the siege on Gaza and the escalation of Israeli violence. The cycle of violence and bloodshed goes on and on, and the threat of an overall invasion and re-conquest of the Gaza Strip is openly and repeatedly made by the Israeli military and political leaders – with the cost estimated at hundreds or thousands of casualties. We, the undersigned – Israelis and Palestinians – do not accept this grim reality as inevitable. There is a clear and obvious alternative to bloody escalation and strangulating siege, an alternative providing hope: an end to the siege of Gaza, and a ceasefire and cessation of all hostilities. The siege of Gaza and the collective punishment of its population are totally unacceptable. It is a medieval form of war which is in utter contradiction to the present norms of human rights and international law – which Israel, as an occupying power, is bound to respect. There should be an immediate end to the siege, unconnected with any other issue, and the Gaza Strip must have free access to the outside world, for the free passage of persons and goods. It has already been clearly seen that the suffering inflicted on Palestinian civilians in Gaza did not and cannot solve the problem of Sderot. The only solution is a complete and mutual ceasefire, an end to all armed attacks by the Israeli occupation on Palestinians, including all shootings by infantry, tanks, artillery, aircraft and gunboats, and all targeted killings, armed incursions and arrests across the border, and an end to launching of rockets by Palestinians on Israelis. In addition, this should involve a reopening of the prisoners issue, starting with negotiations on the exchange of Israeli soldier Gilead Shalit with Palestinian prisoners. We regard such a ceasefire as an entirely realistic, achievable and desirable act, which would save lives, alleviate misery and create better conditions for any attempt to achieve peace between the two peoples – while understanding that no long-lasting solution is possible while the Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem continue to live under occupation. ——————————– Full text including Hebrew and Arabic translations at http://toibillboard.info
Atheist Jews with family in Israel writes a reddit on Gaza
His user name fowlsegs writes a reddit in response to the article “We have nothing to lose:I would rather die with my family under the rubble of our house than having a humiliating truce’=: Palestinian youth demand justice”
The article was submitted by user onicc in reddit.com/r/worldnews and in less than six hours it position itself in one of the most read posts in worldnews reddit.
The sad part of the article is that is about the death and destruction of Gaza, Palestine.
fowlslegs writes the following:
Wrote the following in the comment section of the post “Cellphone Video Captures Gaza Civilian Shot and Killed By Sniper,” but I thought I should share this here too. Obviously the first paragraph or so is out of context here, but I think the rest is important for to read (esp. for Americans).
Whether or not this video is real is trivial. If you think there’s no way it’s real you haven’t been doing your research. There are a huge number of extremely racist and angry Israelis and things like this are constantly happening. That’s why the civilian death toll is so high. Dozens of civilians have died from shelling today. Make no mistake many have been intentional.
Don’t you realize Israel wants to kill Palestinian civilians to punish them because they believe there is great support from Hamas? That’s why Gazans are denied ambulances, fishing territory, food and international aide, etc.. That’s why they have curfews and have their papers checked and their bodies groped at checkpoints within their own territory. That’s why it’s called the world’s largest prison.
Considering the following conclusion United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict (2009).
The operations were in furtherance of an overall policy aimed at punishing the Gaza population for its resilience and for its apparent support for Hamas, and possibly with the intent of forcing a change in such support.
Read the Wikipedia articles about racism in Israel. Arab Israelis are largely segregated from Jewish Israelis and find themselves disadvantaged in terms of social mobility, education, and under the law. You’ll see from polls that the vast majority of Israelis are not afraid to admit they believe they are a superior people to Arabs and that they would prefer they and their family not have to share apartment buildings, playgrounds, schools, hospitals, etc. with their children.
Read the book Hollow Land: Israel’s Architecture of Occupation by Eyal Weizman. You’ll learn about how in the colonized (settled) areas of the West Bank, where Israelis bulldoze Palestinian homes to make room for their own, they drive on separate roads, live in gated communities, etc.. It becomes clear why the South African apartheid analogy comes into play.
Make no mistake: Israel wishes to colonize all of Palestine. That’s why they won’t consider any peace treaty which makes them give up the massive amount of land and resources they’ve taken, even though, AFAIK, every country has categorically rejected the legality of their land grab. Look at the history of their illegal housing demolitions, their settlements and outposts, their massive infrastructure within Palestinian territory, and their division of West Bank with numerous extensions of the West Bank Barrier. Their ethnic cleansing and Judaizing of space. Look at this historical map. That isn’t self-defense. Read about the huge number of settlers, citizens, and politicians who deny Palestine’s existence as a state. That isn’t self-defense. Read about the history of the Zionist movement.
I see people commenting about how it’s foolish to take sides when you don’t know what’s going on. I disagree. Take the side of the Palestinian and of the Israeli citizen. Invest yourself thoroughly in what’s going on. Something needs to be done about Hamas and terror attacks on Israeli citizens, but the situation for Palestinian civilians is much more pressing, and not only during times of war. (They experience violence, the destruction of their homes, the colonization of their land, checkpoints, curfews, discrimination, denial of access to building materials, medical and school supplies, etc.. See the film Six Broken Cameras to see examples of this happening and how the Palestinian civilian body has largely reacted.) Additionally, the amelioration of the living conditions of Palestinians is much cheaper (actually negative in expense, arguably) and easier than the elimination of a terror group that works largely in secret (see the continued existence of al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc.).
As Reddit is largely US citizens we can actually do somethings about it. A conservative estimate of direct US aid to Israel puts the number at more than $130 billion. We are financing this imperialism with our words and dollar.
If you want to help Palestinian citizens, I suggest joining the BDS (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement as a first step.
Boycott products made by Israeli or US companies operating in stolen Palestinian land and products made by corporations who provide the infrastructure for the operation. You can find a list of such companies online. One example is US corporation Caterpillar, whose bulldozers are used to destroy Palestinian homes.
Support divestment of your company, school, etc. from these corporations and also from any Israeli government owned business. Start a Students for Justice in Palestine group at your college/ University or join the one that already exists.
Call and email your national representatives and demand that aid to Israel’s military must be cut. Explain why using some of what I’ve written above or your own argument.
I hope this argument got through to at least a few of you. Fighting colonialism is a lot easier than fighting terrorism.

I Rather Die: We have nothing left to lose
“We have nothing left to lose. I would rather die with my family under the rubble of our house than have a humiliating truce’: Palestinian youth demand justice”

Palestinian killed under the rubble of his home after an Israel missile targeted his home. “The sleep, that never ends.” reads a post in facebook
The death toll continues to rise in the East of Gaza as Palestinians retrieve their loved ones from the rubble. July 20, 2014 at Gaza, Palestine
Palestinians in Gaza have been suffering a long blockade from the outside world, such blockade, was placed by Israel and enforced in part by Egypt by closing Rafah crossing, which it is the only other border to the outside world.
Palestinians in Gaza see the siege to the Strip worse than a direct war at them, the siege of Gaza is a slow death. A truce with Israel that does not include end of the blockade is only temporary cease of fire.
Fishermen are harassed everyday by Israel boats that illegally patrol Gaza’s waters. Fisherman are confined to a 3 nautical miles to fish.
Excerpt from 3 Miles to Fish or Die,
“Why did you break the 3 mile limit?” an Israeli soldier asked him.
“During Oslo, we were allowed to reach 20 miles so why do you prevent us from going past 3 miles? These 3 miles not enough,” Al-Hesy responded.
Gaza is not a pleasant place to be. The Israeli occupation smothers and suffocates, it makes one highly attuned to one’s surroundings in unnatural ways, or ways that were once natural but should no longer be. Notes from behind the Blockade
Fire Water
I took a much-needed shower after a day of harvesting olives near the buffer zone and my skin still burns. My eyes itch as well. I’m not quite sure what this is about. Gaza’s water contamination is well-documented — Israel damaged the sewage facilities here during “Operation Cast Lead” causing sewage to penetrate Gaza’s coastal aquifer. There is a high level nitrates in the water here (nitrates come from waste and cause “blue baby syndrome”) as well as high saline levels (tap water is undrinkable), but I haven’t heard anything about this weird itching and burning. International Activist in Gaza
There’s a serious Israeli blockade of Gaza. You’ll notice Israeli fences, boundaries, and supervised crossings all around Gaza. Israel heavily controls the flow of goods through these channels, including food, medicine, construction materials, and the like. The state reason it does that is to limit Hamas’ ability to resupply itself militarily; for instance, Hamas and other militant groups often home-build rockets that get fired into Israeli towns and cities. These restrictions also severely affect civilians. To deal with the military and civilian effects of the blockade, Hamas built well over a thousand tunnels out of Gaza — mostly into Egypt. Israel’s stated reason for the ground incursion into Gaza is shutting down tunnels into Israel built for attacks, but it also may want to shut down Hamas supply tunnels into Egypt. Vox.com
Jerusalem Post published on last week an Egyptian proposed cease of fire that many in Gaza believes to be Israel crafted, such cease of fire agreement was rejected by Hamas for the simple reason that they were not invited to participate in the conversations and the cease of fire does not help to end the conflict in Gaza at all, it is simply temporary cease of fire.
Historically Israel has broke every cease of fire signed when continues with the target assassinations on Palestinian leaders in Gaza and around the world, the latest target assassinations during negotiated cease fire Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, on January 19, 2010 and Ahmed Jabari who Hours before to be assassinated, he have received the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip.
Gaza ask 10 very easy achievable points to end the rockets to Israel:
End completely Gaza siege including the 3-fishing-nautical-miles, release of all political prisoners including the prisoners re-arrested after Shilat deal exchange, release the 500 or so arrested in West Bank after the 3 Israeli soldiers were killed, including Hamas members of Palestinian parliament , stop the assassination of Palestinian political leaders and and international supervision of the Gazan seaport in place of the current Israeli blockade, which was suggested by Qatari Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Attiyah, on July 14, 2014
I leave you to reflect on the words of Benjamin Netayahu included in a book he co_authored in 1986, in his words he explain exactly why Israeli actions against the Palestinians are carried out. He is doing exactly what he said in 1986.
Benjamin Netayahu best known by Bibi in 1986 co-authored a book called TERRORISM How The West Can Win. In the Chapter “Defining Terrorism”, you find the following statement.
“For in addition to random killing, terrorist often engage in assassinations of society’s leaders. Assassinations, in fact is important to the genesis of modern terrorism, emerging from an older tradition that maintains that a society can be reshaped, or a creed cleansed, by eliminating its leaders or ruling class. For the TERRORIST, assassination is the precursor of mass murder, and both constitute the principal weapons in his arsenal.” Benjamin Netayahu, 1986 in his book TERRORISM
18 Family members of Al-Battesh Family killed by Israel missiles

Ahmed A. Balousha, reporter from Gaza, Palestine

From Gaza Strip, Palestine
To Elbadil Journal
Translated into English by Shadi Nassar
Up to the 14th of Ramadan (July 13, 2014), the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip is still continuous in the absence of any deterrent. While the international community keeps negatively silent, the (Israeli) aircraft are targeting the houses and neighborhoods; the gunboats are targeting the coast. In addition, the tanks are ready for an expected ground invasion. Nobody can predict the scenario of the war on Gaza, nor the limit to the losses which could occur in this city.
Immediately after al-Taraweeh prayer and while the worshippers were leaving the mosque, a barrage of missiles targeted the house of al-Battesh family in al- Shijaiya, east of Gaza. The house with its many floors turned into ruins. It was filled by a cloud of death and the smell of gunpowder. Eighteen people were killed in this massacre, which is one of others committed continuously by the IAF for eight days without any break or even hesitation. The killing rapidly occurs. The streets of the strip are full of grief and sorrow. The people bury their relatives asking God to rest them in peace instead of the miserable life they lived.

18 graves ready to receive the body of the Al-Battesh Family who was killed yesterday July 12 by an Israel missile. Gaza, Palestine
These graves await an entire family. They lived together and they are leaving together forever to Heaven. The family is joining many other killed families. The war machine kills easily under internationally accepted and promoted pretexts, which aim at hiding the truth and covering the crimes of the occupation.
This is not the first case. It was exceeded by another massacre committed against Kaware’a family in Khan-Younis, south of the strip, and Ehmeid family in Beit Hanoun. That makes the Palestinians predict unprecedented violations, as long as the Israeli attacks continue. Some witnesses mentioned that the recovery of bodies was almost impossible because they were mixed with ruins.
UPDATE: July 14, 2014 7:53 a.m

Blood of Tayseer Al-Batsh’s family who were killed in an Israeli air raid, are seen at a hospital morgue in Gaza City, on July 13, 2014. The Israeli air strike on the family home of Al-Batsh, Gaza’s police chief, killed 18 people on Saturday, Gaza’s health ministry said, and Hamas fired the largest salvo of rockets yet on Tel Aviv since the start of the Jewish state’s offensive in the Palestinian enclave. The strike on the home of Al-Batsh in Gaza City was the deadliest bombing since Israel launched its offensive on Tuesday to end Palestinian rocket fire into its territory. Israel’s offensive has killed 145 Palestinians since Tuesday. Gaza medical officials said at least 82 civilians, including 25 children, were among the dead from the air strikes on the territory into which nearly 2 million people are packed.Photo by Ezz Al Zanoon, Gaza, Palestine.
Urgent Call From Gaza

Mohammed Matter ‘Abu Yazan’, from Gaza, Palestine is a political activist, writer and a member of Gaza Youth Breaks Out movement, known as GYBO (photo/aljazeera.com)
“A message to the world,
Dearest Comrades, Brothers and Sisters, and free people of the world:
The Palestinian people are being exposed to another one of the Israeli occupations aggressions. The occupation offensive continues in Gaza, Palestine, while the blockade never ended. Not only so, settler crimes continue with impunity in the West Bank and Jerusalem, meanwhile land theft and settler expansion persists. An apartheid wall furthermore aids the Judaization of Jerusalem, as the occupation forces continue to arrest thousands of civilians. 6000 men and women have been arrested so far, they have been abused and their human rights violated. Not to mention the destruction of Palestinian infrastructure, and the Palestinian national economy.
The Israeli military occupation has committed and continues to commit a number of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the form of genocide. In doing so, the military occupation is violating the IV GENEVA CONVENTION RELATIVE TO THE PROTECTION OF CIVILIANS IN TIME OF WAR, and a number of other human rights agreements. To this point the Israeli aggression has led to 167 Palestinian civilian deaths, 39 of which are children, with a further 23 women. 1123 civilians have also been injured, the majority of which are women and children, while tens of houses have been destroyed and their occupants killed. Not only so, but a number of key institutions have also been targeted, including civil and government institutions, emergency vehicles, and holy sites.
Friends and Comrades, we urge you along with the rest of the international community, with all its institutions including regional ones, and the various civil society organizations, to go from calls for justice for the Palestinian struggle towards the acceptance of your responsibility as actors in this issue. We urge you to hold Israel legally accountable in both an individual and a collective context, to stop the aggression and alienate via boycotts the Israeli military occupation.
We urge you to collectively work on a global solidarity campaign, the biggest of its kind, to expose the Israeli military occupation and hold it accountable. The continued international silence and the lack of accountability gives the Israeli military occupation impunity and encourages it to commit more atrocities and massacres.
Dearest friends: We as a people people live under occupation, and an apartheid state, without any protections. We urge you to take to the streets, and to protest nonstop as we do, the screaming violations that are inflicted on the Palestinian people. We urge you to demand the end of the occupation and the aggression, and to scream in the face of injustice. We urge you to take a stance against the double standards of your governments and to urge them to commit to their legal and ethical obligations towards protecting civilians in Palestine. We need you and we need your urgent solidarity today, and everyday, to stop the occupations crimes and continued aggression. We urge you towards a serious movement and work and solidarity with our just struggle for justice, dignity and freedom. Finally, we hope that you commit yourself to this call as individuals and/or organizations, and to do so with urgency, for tomorrow maybe a day too late.” Abu Yazan
Mattar wrote in 2012 for Aljazeera his feeling regarding the Manifesto that he and other young bright minds wrote in 2010 exposing Israel, UN, US, and its own government Hamas. The frustration to live in an occupied Land, living under the military boot of Israel under the protection of the UN, US and in large by the international community-leaders- on top of that under the dictatorial hand of Hamas that tried to crashed the movement since the first day arresting and harassing its founders.
It has been almost two years now since we wrote our manifesto. We called it a manifesto, but in reality, I’m not sure what it was, he said.
“Was it a manifesto, or was it a cry for help? Perhaps, an accusation, or even perhaps a demand to the world and to ourselves; a demand for change from the outside and from within.” matter said.
Now he appeals again to the international community, but more that to the leaders to citizens of the world to help them, to raise voices of conscience throughout the world to help to stop the massacre.

From manifesto to reality: ‘Gaza Youth Breaks Out’ member tells his story
“My story is marked by violence, persecution, arrests, abuse and resistance,” writes Matter.
It is almost two years now since we wrote our manifesto. We called it manifesto, but in hindsight, I’m not sure what it was. Was it a manifesto, or was it a cry for help? Perhaps, an accusation. Perhaps, a demand to the world and to ourselves; a demand for change from within and from the outside.
It was before the uprisings began around us, and they have been roaring the last two years; in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Bahrain. But we had felt like shouting in the dark, and while this raging had brought light into the darkness of the dictatorships around us, the night around us has not thinned even a bit. No, if anything, it has only become darker.

Once again Gaza Strip, that enclave in the Mediterranean Sea is being Shell by Israel Air Artillery, the excuses are lame as always, but the eyes of the world are in Israel impunity to kill without being call terrorist, without being stopped by the outcry of world leaders when she engage in murderous activities, where is the International Community and the UN publicly denouncing Israel for her killing of civilians and destruction of homes, and public structures? Where is the outcry of world, where is the Main Stream Media reporting the crimes? Fox, CNN, BBC, where are your photojournalists? why you are not in Gaza? Innocent population is once again being victim of aerial raids, home destruction, panic in the streets, fears in the children hearts, impotency from the parents which can not protect their children, the shelters are not available to help them. UNRWA was instructed by Israel not to use their vehicles at night; at night when most of the bombs are dropped. The ambulances will not be able to move at night to seek for injured as Israel will shoot to any moving “Target”.
The latest excuse for the attacks came from the south of the border of Israel with Egypt, more than 188 kilometer far from Gaza. According to first reports from a spokesman from Israel said that the attacks came from the Egyptian Side of the Sinai region, which is under Israel control but it is demilitarize after the Camp Davis agreement. But there are many conflicting versions that contradict the firsts reports, after Israeli soldier killed 3 Egyptian soldiers inside Egypt, making with this invalid the Camp David accords. The situation is very tense in Israel as her biggest border which is Egypt will be lost very soon out of her total control. As soon as Palestine be Official all the accords of the past are history for the books, even if Israel never respect them, they won’t be the excuse for her crimes, and the Leaders won’t have face to say any more; “Israel has the right to defend herself”.
“Israel and any other (country) must understand that the day our sons get killed without a strong and an appropriate response, is gone and will not come back,” wrote Amr Moussa, former Arab League chief and now a presidential hopeful. He tweeted his statement along with, “the blood of our martyrs which was spilled while carrying out their duties, will not be shed in vain.”
All the factions inside Palestine and the Government of Gaza deny any involvement in the attacks that killed 8 Israelis. The world know well that when any attack is carry out by any Palestinian factions they will immediately will claim responsibility, the latest “attacks” are seen as a excuses for Israel to bring conflict to the zone of Sinai that is loosing Egyptian control after the fall of Mubarak, and also to created diversion on the world for the September UN acceptance of Palestine as a State and become the 193 Member of the UN.
The Independent Media, social forums and bloggers have been reporting in the social circles of facebook, youtube, twiter and other services to the world, but as usual the great majority of the leaders refused to condemn Israel, giving her the green light with their silence and excusing her last attacks in the innocent population of Gaza, Israel officials had reported to the press that the attacks came from the Egypt side of Sinai, the attacks to the buses going to The resort of Eilat, really too far of the reach of any Gaza groups.
Palestinian Mercenaries trained by EU with the blessing of Israel: “The new Palestinian unit will be tasked with securing European Union facilities in the eastern part of the capital and maintaining order in the area. The 80 Palestinians to be selected for the highly coveted job will be trained and guided by British company Saladin Security.”
If Israel gets away with shaking the Oslo accord only to her convenience and with security forces paid by the EU, who say that these security forces has not expanded and were “trained” to work against her own people, which is probably some how the case, even thought I really believe they never intended to be “Palestinians”.
When I first heard of the highly secretive security force working in Jerusalem acting as Palestinians,(Mukhabrat) taking part in protests against Israel, and leading the Palestinians to more violent type of protest, then turning around and taking their guns out and arresting the protesters, then we know that Israel have not change a bit since Biblical times, stories circulating of the deceitful behavior of Israelis since more than 2,000 years ago. Any way then was and now is the same tactics, terrorizing the neighbors and then blaming the other neighbors for her crimes.
I cropped these three faces from a video widely published during the Jerusalem Protests in 2010, these look like Palestinians were mixed with the crowd, some others right after they will try to make the arrest they will put on a mask on their faces before they will turn against the Palestinians and make the arrest, I tried to make as clear as possible these faces so they not be confused again with a Palestinian brother. (Mukhabrat)
This people not to be confused with the Ameel, which are real Palestinians that take money from Israel to serve as spies inside the territories.
These Look Like Palestinians are highly trained personal:
A security firm that employs the veterans of elite British units will provide instruction to 80 Palestinian security guards to be deployed in east Jerusalem.
The new Palestinian unit will be tasked with securing European Union facilities in the eastern part of the capital and maintaining order in the area. The 80 Palestinians to be selected for the highly coveted job will be trained and guided by British company Saladin Security. The project has been arranged by the EU, which intends to train the Palestinians to serve as a highly skilled police force to maintain the order in Arab areas in Jerusalem, and later on across the Palestinian Authority.
Saladin Security, which was established in 1978, provides training and security services in dozens of countries and was set up by veterans of the elite SAS unit.Saladin, or in its previous name, KMS, has already been entrusted with some controversial operations in the past. Among other things, its members trained the Islamic rebels fighting the Soviet occupation in Afghanistan. The Muslim fighters trained by the company eventually managed to take over the country.
They suppose to be Palestinians, but we well know that Israel will never grant permission to carry arms to a Palestinian inside Jerusalem, these look like Palestinians are kind of secret service elite, that behave like Palestinians, dress like Palestinians, live among Palestinians, they even get as far to marry Palestinians, but when the day come they turn their backs to Palestine and come to the counter bank for their check pay.
Not to be confused with Ameel, which are Palestinians that for financial reasons or others sometimes are forced by Israel using their families as bate, the ones incarcerated under threats to keep them in jail longer, or to torture them, they take money from Israel wanted or not, usually if these Palestinians are found, they are called collaborators and without a trial or without finding the real motive they are killed by Palestinians.
“Another Israeli False Flag? – by Stephen Lendman
Mossad and Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency) have long, odious histories of committing them.
At issue now is whether the August 18 bus and other attacks inside Israel were committed by external elements or Israel, and if so, why?
Also at issue always is cui bono? In fact, Hamas and various Palestinian resistance groups have nothing to gain. Clearly Israel benefits greatly at least two ways:
(1) The upcoming September UN General Assembly vote on Palestinian self-determination Israel very much wants to derail.
(2) Weeks of nationwide internal social justice protests Netanyahu also wants to diffuse and end.
Both are compelling reasons for employing tried and true tactics – change the subject by diverting public attention.
This article enlighten the minds regarding Israel long history of flag operations. There is no News that before Israel creation a series of event came to shape the panorama in the then Mandate of Palestine. The Zionist elite crafted every event that lead to the creation of Palestine…..MORE ON THIS ARTICLE …
Trainees take part in a shooting drill of the International Security Academy-Israel in a combat training center at Nir Am kibbutz near the Gaza strip, on May 26, 2011. (Xinhua/Yin Dongxun)
On May 26, 2011 an article was in the News.cn a News Outlet from China, with photos on a group of International “Trainees” in the Negev Desert very close to Gaza. These “Students” come from 17 countries and they are trained to deal in Arabs Affairs. The garments to wear logically are part of the training, they must be dress to blend in. The following pictures show a group of them dressing as Arabs, some of them using the Palestinians Scarf and others the traditional beduine head cover. You can see that these students are being trained to deceit.
There is no news that Israel during her 65 years of existence has been known for her Self Perpetrated Attacks; “False Flag Operations” to divert the attention and to win support thru the media where these operations are Propagated.
The versions on the August 18, attack lead many experts to believe that the death of the 8 tourists in the bus in South Israel is just another operation to escalate the attacks in Gaza and with this, send the message to Abbas the Palestinians President to withdraw his bid for Statehood, and at the same time to create chaos and confusion on the goals of Palestinians, portraying them as “terrorists”.
We must not fall in her campaign by now we know her tactics. Israel is in the Hot Seat.
Israel is a Case of Political Failure, Predictable as its Tactics

When Palestinians Christians started showing support for the Palestinian cause, a number of Christian Churches were targeted around the world by “Muslim Mob”, when Ortodox Jews started supporting Palestine and speaking in that regard, Synagogues around the world were targeted by “Muslim Mobs”. It is obvious for us that have been following the conflict more closely that this “attacks” are purposely done by Israel or her supporters. And off course these attacks are never are claimed by Palestinians factions or Palestinians supporters.
We know that the resistance factions inside Palestine have their own agenda and work very much on their own. The elected government of Gaza, Hamas does not control those factions. The same way that the IOF forces can not control the radical actions of the settlers that continuously harass Palestinians inside the occupied territories.
There is something well known in the world of World News, when an attack is successfully or unsuccessfully done by any Palestinian Resistance Groups inside Israel or the Palestinian Occupied Territories, there is a sort of pride of telling the world who perpetrated the attack, even if they did not achieve their goal, which ever it could have been. They feel that standing against this powerful Entity and her army is a duty because they are fighting against an entity that have stolen their land and is continuously murdering their love ones. They tell the world that they did it, that they try. There has never been an attack from the Palestinian resistance that was not been claim, except if that attack was not from one of them.
There are rumors that some of the groups working inside Gaza and West Bank are undercover Israeli agents pretending to be Palestinians and they live inside Palestine and work against Palestine, those rumors can not be confirm, but who will say “Yes I m Spy”, Israel collaborators are usually put to death, so is unlike it that we will ever know if they really exist. But we know that some groups act against Palestine long term interest, even thought they think to serve a purpose.
The resistance groups inside Palestine usually do not agree with most of the agreements signed by their respective leaders, they feel betrayed by their leaders that most of the times end up being pressure by the US or the European Union to suppress their own people. Not that they have any other choice, their hands seems to be tied up most of the time.
An ordinary Palestinian sees the conflict with their simple mind and their struggles transpire in their everyday life. The people of Gaza are being targeted by missiles, sonar bombs, an strangulating economy that is asphyxiating them, a social infrastructure destroyed, Israel drones do not distinguish between a school, a mosque or a home, their drinking water is polluted, dirty waters running in front of their houses, high incidence of radiation from Israel bombs, cancer related to radiation, psychological trauma in most of the population, high unemployment rate, youth lost to uncertain future that engage in violent acts and drugs. I mean we can go on and on and lay out all the deficiencies of their everyday life and they see it as simple as ‘End Up the Occupation’, do not sign agreements with the enemy, because in their mind Israel is the enemy, they do not understand the Game of Politics that always goes against their simple well being, their future, their bare necessities never meet, their human rights violated, how could they understand or accept that their leader is not acting in Palestinians behalf? But who in their right mind will accept to be exiled, starved, make refugee, make homeless, murdered and not complain about it? Who Would?
Israel recent attacks in Gaza seems to follow the same pattern of the 2009-2010 massacre, where more than 1500 Palestinians got killed. The attacks never really ended since Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 they only got more vicious. They have better war technology than they did in 2005, their experiments are being perfected. The damages are more lethal, and what the UN Club is doing? Nothing, absolutely nothing. What the US is doing? they are making more difficult for Palestine to survive another year, but even against all the odds, the international community of peace and social activists and Palestinians are getting ready for September, the big date for the drafted resolution to be presented In the UN, for Palestine to be finally recognized as a Free Nation.

Scottish Hip Hop Artist/Youth Worker and Political Activist Eastborn will be traveling out to Palestine in a humanitarian convoy on the 1st July 2011 to help the Samouni family who suffered the great loss when 48 Family members were shelled by the Israeli forces as they sat in a house, a house the Israeli’s knew to be full of children and women as they had moved them to the house “for their protection”. The area is now to stand as a defiant symbol to this disgraceful act by building a Community Center complete with classrooms to help educate the local community.
Eastborn will help with the construction of the building and work with the young people when he is out there. Beforehand the convoy will pass through the Eastern Block visiting children’s orphanages in the area before going on to Gaza.
Eastborn who is currently recording a track for the Project, with a video to come soon, will also pay homage to the fallen comrade Vittorio Arrigoni who sadly lost his life in Palestine after he was murdered protecting the people of Palestine.
So how can you help? Well the convoy desperately needs financial donations to help with petrol costs as well as the Project itself.

Paris court convicts Israeli doctor of slander
Posted On April 30, 2011 by Omar Karem
Why Israel Does Not Care For Any Country And The “UNITED NATIONS”?
IM PALESTINAIN AND IM SUFFERING
IM SCARE TO GO TO THE BEACH, ISRAEL DOES NOT CARE FOR THE KIDS, OLD PEOPLE OR HUMANS.

Knesset member Ahmad Tibi is calling on Israeli authorities to punish a doctor convicted of slandering the father of Mohammad Ad-Durra by a French court Friday.
In 2000, the television station France 2 reported that Israeli soldiers shot dead Mohammad Ad-Durra, 12, in Gaza City. The killing was filmed by French reporters and the channel broadcast footage of the incident, in which Ad-Durra’s father Jamal was also shot and injured as he tried to take cover with his son.
In an interview to a French Jewish publication in 2008, Israeli doctor Yehuda David claimed Jamal Ad-Durra’s injuries stemmed from a previous accident. He had operated on Ad-Durra in 1994.
Ad-Durra sued David and the publication for slander.
A Paris court on Friday convicted the doctor, a reporter and the editor of Jewish News Weekly, of defaming Jamal Ad-Durra. The three were fined 1,000 euros each and ordered to pay 5,000 euros in damages.
MK Ahmad Tibi urged the Israeli Medical Association and the Ministry of Health to prosecute the doctor, noting that misusing and distorting confidential medical files is a criminal offense.
David has previously claimed that the video footage of Mohammad’s killing was fabricated, and that the boy was killed by Palestinian fire.
In 2000, the Israeli army conducted an internal investigation and admitted responsibility for the killing but in 2007 the Israeli government officially denied involvement.

Vittorio Arrigoni Will To The World-For The Reader: a warning and instructions for use
Posted On April 17, 2011 Marivel Guzman
‘Stay human’ is the motto with which I sign off my pieces
for II Manifesto and for the entries on my blog. It’s an
Invitation, or, better still, a prompt, to desist for the
commission of criminal acts and to reaffirm and take
possession of the original purposes of humankind instead.
Once boundaries, flags, barriers, latitudes and ethono-
religious differences have been abolished, what breaks
onto the scenario stripped of the impulse
to preserve one’s own kin at the expense of others. Mine
is an invitation to remember our belong to a sole
community of living beings: the human family.
Gaza: Stay Human is now also a book. Please find
within the three-week story of a massacre, written to the
best of my ability, more often than not in very precarious
conditions, often scribbling about the inferno all around
me in a tattered notebook while crouched in an ambulance
screaming down the street. Or frantically tapping away
at the keyboard of any available computer I could find,
often inside a building shaking like a crazed pendulum
as explosions went off all around. I must warn you that
leafing through this book could prove dangerous. These
are harmful pages, blood-stained, imbued with white
phosphorous, and as sharp as bomb shrapnel. If read within
the quiet of a bedroom, your walls will shake from our
cries of terror. I feel concerned for the walls of your hearts,
which I recognize have not become soundproofed to
pain.
Please store this volume somewhere safe, within the
reach of the young, so that they may immediately learn of
a world not so far away from them, where indifference and
racism tears their peers to little bits as if they were mere
rag dolls. This way they may be inoculated against racism
from an early age, against any epidemic of violence towards
whoever is different, or against neutrality when faced with
injustice. Gaza; Stay human aims to float beyond other
books written about, in and around Palestine thanks to
the creative fire that has begotten it: the keen will of this
author to involve, enlighten and heighten the reader’s
awareness of what atrocious inhumanities unfolded during
those 22 days of a massacre. This is my small contribution
towards preventing similar massacres from ever taking
place in future. Giving the dead some justice and
safeguarding tomorrow’s mortally wounded.
Please help yourself to a ticket for a tour of hell that
even the poet Dante Alighieri could not have conceived
of when waking up from his pillow, full of nightmares. I
entertain the hope of having been a good guide throughout
to this hell, like Dante’s Charon, the ferryman of Hades,
of having been as faithful and as humane as possible in
my narration. Standing in the rubble of a freshly-bombed
building or in the ward of a Gaza hospital, I’m aware that
it was sometimes difficult to recognize human features
in what was once a face, now mutated, reduced to a
pulp by devastating weaponry that is mostly banned by
all international conventions. My account strives for the
greatest possible objectivity. As it happens, I was myself an
object, or target, of the Israel army and also received death
threats from a group of neo-Nazis connected with some
settler groups. For whomsoever is still in doubt, months
after the massacre, my account and the details recorded
underneath a storm of bombs have been backed up by
all the most reliable human rights organizations, whether
governmental or otherwise, as well as by Israeli soldier
themselves, who have recently started to confess the
crimes they have committed. In time, Gaza: Stay human
will become increasingly more like an historic document
rather than being a plain narrative from hell.
If truth is the first victim of war, it is then Israel’s absolute
priority to assassinate it, before, during and after the
conflict. Our duty as activists, and more generally as human
beings, is to document and tell the truth for the sake of
freedom and justice, and then bring it to the table of world
public opinion, and then serve it as a meal, the
difficult to digest the better.
For tomorrow, so as to stay human

Slingshots vs. White Phosphorous Bombs-“Smash a box of kitten” hear the Roar of the World
Posted on April 16, 2011 by Marivel Guzman
“Take some kittens, some tender little moggies in a box”, said Jamal, a surgeon at Al-Shifa, Gaza’s main hospital, while a nurse actually placed a couple of bloodstained cardboard boxes in front of us. “Seal it up, then jump on it with all your weight and might, until you feel their little bones crushing, and you hear the last muffled little mew”. I stared at the boxes in astonishment, and the doctor continued: “Try to image what would happen after such images were circulated> The righteous outrage of public opinion, the complaints of the animal rights organizations…” The doctors went on in this vein, and I was unable to take my eyes of the boxes at our feet. “Israel trapped hundreds of civilians inside a school as as if in a box, including many children, and then crushed them with all the might of its bombs. What were the world’s reactions?
Almost nothing. We would have been better off as animals rather than Palestinians, we would have been better protected”.
At this point the doctor leans towards one of the boxes, and takes its lid off in front of me. Inside it are the amputated limbs, legs and arms, some from the knee down, others with the entire femur attached, from amputees injured at the Al-Fakhura United Nations school in Jabalia, which resulted in more than 50 casualties.
Pretending to be taking an urgent call, I took my leave of Jamal, actually rushing to the bathroom to throw up. A little earlier I’d been involved in a conversation with Dr. Abdel, an ophthalmologist, regarding the rumors that the Israeli Army had been showering us with non-conventional weapons, forbidden by the Geneva Convention, such as cluster bombs and white phosphorous. The very same that the Israel Army used during the last Lebanese war, as well as the US Air Force in Falluja, in violation of International norms. An Excerpt from Vittorio Arrigoni from his book Gaza Stay Human.
4 workers were killed last night and because of the collapse of a tunnel dug by Palestinians in the Rafah border. Through the tunnel pass all the necessary goods that have enable the survival of the population of Gaza strangled by four years by criminal Israeli siege. Can enter tunnels in the Gaza Strip’s main assets such as food, cement, livestock.
Even the hospitals in The Gaza Strip from the black market will cater for the tunnel.
Since the beginning of the siege at more than 300 Palestinians have died at work in the ground to allow a population of nearly 2 million people to feed themselves.
It ‘an invisible war for survival.
The names of past martyrs: Abdel Halim and his brother Samir Abd Al-Rahman Alhqra, 22s years and 38 years, Haitham Mostafa Mansour, 20, and Abdel-Rahman Muhaisin 28 years.

Silvio Berlusconi today: “We will try to prevent the departure of the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza.”
According to Israeli radio reports second Berlusconi flotilla’s mission would not work in support of peace in the region.
Proposing negotiations to be held in Sicily,(in the estates of Vittorio Mangano?), The premier “bunga bunga” reminded once again that Israel is the only Middle Eastern country friendly to the West, and should become part of European Union.
Berlusconi is pushing for the accession of Israel to the European Union, while Italy will kick in soon.
Please tell me which is the usual joke…
Stay Human
Vik from Gaza City
Abril 13, 2011
All the reports from Vittorio Arrigoni from Gaza City in Guerrilla Radio Guerrilla Information imprisonment. Corruption of the media, the bigotry of the middle classes, the unforgivable slumber of civic consciousness. The longing for truth before every longing, the abrasive complaint to the dissolution of any preconceived solution, infanticide of all certainty induced. The black powder of coercion within the nostrils of a crisis of rejection. The binge of Naked Lunch, raw bitter enough not to be digested.
Vittorio Arrigoni, 8th January 2009: “My toothpaste, toothbrush, razors and shaving foam. The clothes I’m wearing, the cough medicine I’m using to get rid of a persistent cough, the cigarettes I bought for Ahmed, and some tobacco for my arghile. My cell phone, the laptop onto which I compulsively type eyewitness accounts from the hell surrounding me. All that’s needed for a modest, yet dignified, existence in Gaza comes from Egypt, and arrives onto the shop shelves through the tunnels. These are the same tunnels the the Israeli F16s haven’t stopped bombing heavily in the last 12 hours, destroying thousands of Rafah houses near the border.
“As sit here writing this, there are 821 Palestinians dead. 93 being women, 235 children. Twelve Paramedics were killed while fulfilling their duty and three journalist died with cameras hanging round their necks. A good 3,350 are among the injured, with more than half being under 18 years ofe age. According to the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights bases in Jabalia, renowned for its reliability they make up 85 % of the Palestinian civilian casualties massacred in the last two weeks. The death toll on the Israeli side has thankfully remained at four.” Vittorio Arrigoni from Gaza City, 10th January 2009, Total Destruction Work in Progress Excerpt from Gaza Stay Human.
I read Vik mention “The death toll on the Israeli side has thankfully remained at four.” I can tell what was in his mind, as we have seen since Israel makes sure there is always 4 to 1 deaths of Palestinians, but this time in Gaza Massacre was over their normal ratio.B’tselem– The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories was established in 1989 by a group of prominent academics, attorneys, journalists, and Knesset members. It endeavors to document and educate the Israeli public and policymakers about human rights violations in the Occupied Territories, combat the phenomenon of denial prevalent among the Israeli public, and help create a human rights culture in Israel.
On 27 December 2008, the first day of the operation, the army bombed the main police
headquarters in Gaza City, killing 42 police cadets who were standing in formation. The same
day, Israel also bombed some 18 police stations in the Gaza Strip. In total, 248 police officers
were killed that day.
Israeli officials stated, in interviews with the media and in official announcements, that
attacks on the police were justified because police officers would in the future take part in
hostilities against Israel, and that every object belonging to Hamas was a legitimate target,
regardless of the actions of the persons attacked.
With so many eyewitness on the Ground regarding Gaza Massacre 2009, voices like Vittorio Arrigoni that did not stop reporting from Gaza since 2009, so why will UN will need the voice of a men than never set foot in Gaza, Richard Goldstone?
The Goldstone report was the first evidence in what has since become a pattern – the failure of the Israeli leadership to register diplomatic achievements following the use of military power. Israel had no troubles achieving its victory in Gaza. One could argue – as many Israelis do – that operation Cast Lead helped deter the Hamas from launching more missiles on Israeli towns. Yet it also made Israel more isolated than ever in the world. The military operation boosted the BDS movement, mobilized public opinion in support of the Palestinians, and led to the Gaza-bound flotilla last spring, which resulted in a partial lifting of the blockade on the Strip.
Most people who criticize the Goldstone report in the US have never been to Gaza, not even before Cast Lead. But Congressman Brian Baird from the state of Washington (D) visited the strip after the Israeli offensive, and these are the wise and sensitive words he had for his fellow legislators, just before an overwhelming majority of them (344-36) backed a resolution calling “the President and Secretary of State to oppose unequivocally any endorsement or further consideration of the [Goldstone] Report“:
Page 52 of Vittorio Arrigoni Book Gaza Stay Human:
“Visiting the wards of Al-Shifa Hospital, crowed with injured patients awaiting treatment, you can bump into a doctor who doesn’t not look very arab. Mads Gilbert is a Norwegian doctor from the NGO Norwac. Gilbert, an anaesthetist, confirms our suspicion regarding the use of forbidden weapons by Israel on Gaza’s civilians: “Many injured arrive with extreme amputations, with both their legs reduced to a pulp, which I suspect is an effect of DIME weapons this is happening while Navi Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, reports that ‘extremely serious violations possibly constituting war crimes’ are taking place”
DIME (Dense Inert Metal Explosive) Bomb is an innovative explosive made with a warhead of carbon and epoxy resin integrated with steel and tungsten. This explosive was designed for urban guerrilla warfare, and was made to strike specific targets and cause a much damage as possible.
Gaza: Stay Human is an authoritative and deeply moving eyewitness account of the terrible 22 day Israeli offensive against the people of the Gaza Strip in 2008-09. Vittorio Arrigoni, a volunteer with the pacifist International Solidarity Movement, served as a human shield while working with the Palestinians Red Crescent ambulances, during the offensive. As a freelance journalist with the Italian daily II Manifesto, Arrigoni’s daily dispatches, written between bombing raids and patchy Internet access, ended with the plea, ‘Stay Human’, which became the motto of anti-Israel peace protest in his native Italy. The English translation is updated to include Arrigoni’s new dispatches on the difficult situation in Gaza after Operation ‘Cast Lead’ and features a preface by the renowned Israeli historian and human rights activist, Ilan Pappe
-Ilan Pappe, Professor of History, University of Exeter. Stay Human ISBN 978-1-84774-019-9
When it comes to human compassion and lending a hand to the voiceless I think Vittorio Arrigoni showed to the world how to do it, even thought his presence in Gaza as freelance journalist and International Solidarity Movement eyewitness was mostly ignored by the world, now his legacy will be known and his work will speaks for itself. All the accounts of the crimes committed by Israel inside the Gaza strip since September 2008 when he arrived in The Gaza Flotilla are being read around the world since he was murdered. If we have a purpose to fulfill in this world, I think Vittorio is fulfilling his, even after his death his accounts are been told and spread as he will never imagine it will. All the work that he did for Gaza, all the moments of anger that he went through seeing how the media was ignoring Gaza Plight, now every bit of information he transmitted on the Internet, every line that he wrote is being distributed, only fate could have given his sacrifice the color that have tainted his memory. His memory stays in Gaza and the Israel crimes will be vastly known all because of his death. It is not that I m happy for his departure, for the ones that have say that his death does not serve any purpose, All wrong on that. His death is mourned and we all sad, but Israel can not stop Vittorio Arrigoni any more, Israel crimes are imprinted in a Book that is more real than The Goldstone Report.
Gaza Stay Human with its 130 pages tell the story of a population being slaughter in front of the cameras, in front of the world that stays silence, might this book be the Post Mortum Witness that the world needed to open their eyes.
As I write this article April 17, 2011 Israel already had strike Gaza again, but now there are more Vittorio that are telling the tale. Thousands of facebook profiles are telling you Gaza and Vittorio Arrigoni Story, thousands of Vittorios are dispersing the truth, The Real Gaza Story..Catch a glimpse and do your deed. Stay Human
RIP Vittorio Arrigoni your memory will live forever in Gaza.
At the end no one can make you believe whats is not there, you are the Opinion Makers, Where The Truth Is the News and You the readers are the Opinion Makers always.
Gaza gets a reminder of 2008-2009 war
Original Post by Omar Ghraieb
Friday 8, 2011, 2:04 AM (Gaza, Palestine)Israeli warplanes, warships and tanks continued their vicious and continuous assault on Gaza.
They targeted medics, 2 were injured while rushing to one of the targeted places by Israeli shelling using an ambulance. More residential areas and houses were also targeted.
Medics reported that 6 were dead in Gaza while 40 others got injured, from which many are women and children. Some of the injured were in a critical state while some others suffered from a life long disability due to heavy and direct shelling.
Israeli tanks approached from western and northern areas into Gaza, they shelled and targeted homes then opened sporadic fire before leaving.
Palestinian resistance declared cease-fire that starts at 11 pm Gaza time but it was one-sided, Israel didn’t oblige instead they responded by continuous shelling and air raids.
They re-raided the border line between Gaza and Egypt. Egyptian local news sources reported that a shell fell on a land inside Egyptian Rafah but with no reported injuries.
All dead and injured in Gaza were civilians.
Huge power outages took place in Khan Younis and Rafah after Israel’s heavy shelling on Gaza, many power lines and converters were damaged.
Explosions, sporadic fire and Israeli warplanes were heard till 3 am of April the 8th.
It looks like the upcoming days will bring more assaults and attacks.
So to be continued….

First Arab-Israeli War , 15 May 1948
Arab opposition to an Israeli state began after the Balfour Declaration 1917, which supported the idea of a Jewish national homeland. In the 1920s there were anti-Zionist riots in Palestine, after the British mandate government allowed thousands of Jews to immigrate to Palestine from all over the world.
In 1936 an Arab revolt led to a British royal commission that recommended partition (approved by United Nations 1947), but rejected by the Arabs.
When it became clear that the British intended to leave by May 15, leaders of the Yishuv decided (as they claim) to implement that part of the partition plan calling for establishment of a Jewish state. In Tel Aviv on May 14 the Provisional State Council, formerly the National Council, “representing the Jewish people in Palestine and the World Zionist Movement,” proclaimed the “establishment of the Jewish State in Palestine, to be called Medinat Israel (the State of Israel) … open to the immigration of Jews from all the countries of their dispersion.”
On May 15 the armies of Egypt, Transjordan (now Jordan), Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq joined Palestinian and other Arab guerrillas who had been fighting Jewish forces since November 1947. The war now became an international conflict, the first Arab-Israeli War.
The Arabs failed to prevent establishment of a Jewish state, and the war ended with four UN-arranged armistice agreements between Israel and Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. The frontiers defined in the armistice agreements remained until they were altered by Israel’s conquests during the Six-Day War in 1967.
“Battle of the Roads“. The Arab League sponsored Arab Liberation Army, composed of Palestinian Arabs and Arabs from other Middle Eastern countries, attacked Jewish communities in Palestine, and Jewish traffic on major roads. The Arab forces mainly concentrated on major roadways in an attempt to cut off Jewish communities from each other. Arab forces at that time had engaged in sporadic and unorganized ambushes since the riots of December 1947, and began to make organized attempts to cut off the highway linking Tel Aviv with Jerusalem, the city’s only supply route. The Arab Army cut off supplies and controlled several strategic vantage points overlooking the sole highway linking Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, enabling them to fire at convoys going to the city. By late March 1948, the vital road that connected Tel Aviv to western Jerusalem, where about 16% of all Jews in the Palestinian region lived, was cut off and under siege.
April 6-12, 1948 : Operation Nachshon. The Haganah decided to launch a major military counteroffensive to break the siege of Jerusalem. On 6 April the Haganah and its strike force, the Palmach, in an offensive to secure strategic points, took al-Qastal, an important roadside town 2 kilometers west of Deir Yassin. But intense fighting lasted for days more as control of that key village remained contested.
April 9, 1948 : Throughout the siege on Jerusalem, Jewish convoys tried to reach the city to alleviate the food shortage, which, by April, had become critical. On 9 April 1948, IZL-Lehi forces attacked Deir Yassin, as part of Operation Nachshon to break the siege of western Jerusalem. On Deir Yassin massacre, Irgun and Lehi members attack the Arab village of Deir Yassin, killing between 100 and 120 Arabs civilians.
May 15, 1948 : Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Transjordan, Holy War Army, Arab Liberation Army, and local Arabs attack the new Jewish state with the intent of destroying it. The resulting 1948 Arab-Israeli War lasts for 13 months. By the end of the war, about 700,000 Palestinian Arabs leave as refugees for a variety of reasons among them, including: avoidance of crossfire, anticipation of war, expulsion, and the Jews massacre against number of Arab villages.
June 1948 : Violent confrontation between the Israel Defense Forces under the command of David Ben-Gurion, and the paramilitary Jewish group Irgun known as The Altalena Affair results in the dismantlement of the Irgun, Lehi, and all Israeli paramilitary organizations operating outside the IDF.
April 1949 : Israel concludes Armistice Agreements with neighboring countries. The territory of the British Mandate of Palestine is divided between the State of Israel, the Kingdom of the Jordan (changed from Transjordan) and Egypt.
Ben Gurion orders 1,500 combat soldiers to liberate the road to a besieged Jerusalem. In early 1948, David Ben Gurion commands a concentrated force of 1,500 soldiers to puncture the road leading to a besieged Jerusalem. The operation, called “Nachshon Operation”, was a turning point in the Independence War: This was the first time that the defense forces were commanded to conquer an area that was defined as Arab territory.
Suez campaign , 29 Oct – 4 Nov 1956
During the 1950s there was considerable tension between Israel and Egypt, which, under President Nasser, had become a leader in the Arab world. His nationalization of the Suez Canal 1956 provided an opportunity for Israel with Britain and France, to attack Egypt and occupy a part of Palestine that Egypt had controlled since 1949, the Gaza Strip , from which Israel was forced by UN and US pressure to withdraw 1957 .
In 1973 Egypt joined Syria in a war on Israel to regain the territories lost in 1967. The two Arab states struck unexpectedly on October 6, which fell on Yom Kippur , Israel’s holiest fast day .
After crossing the Suez Canal the Arab forces gain a lot of advanced positions in Sinai Peninsula and Golan Heights and manage to defeat the Israeli forces for more then three weeks.
Israeli forces with a massive U.S. economic and military assistance managed to stop the Arab forces after a three-week struggle and defeat with the cost of many casualties, and the Arabs strong showing won them support from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and most of the world’s developing countries.
Israel, forced to compete with the nearly unlimited Arab resources, was faced with a serious financial setback. Only massive U.S. economic and military assistance enabled it to redress the balance, but even American aid was unable to prevent a downward spiral of the economy.
In an effort to encourage a peace settlement, U.S. President Richard M. Nixon charged his secretary of state, Henry Kissinger, with the task of negotiating agreements between Israel and Egypt and Syria. Kissinger managed to work out military disengagements between Israel and Egypt in the Sinai and between Israel and Syria in the Golan Heights during 1974.

October War , 6-24 Oct 1973
From 1978 the presence of Palestinian guerrillas in Lebanon led to Arab raids on Israel and Israeli retaliatory incursions.
On 6 June 1982 Israel launched a full-scale invasion. By 14 June Beirut was encircled, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Syrian forces were evacuated mainly to Syria 21-31 Aug.
In Feb 1985 there was a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from the country without any gain or losses incurred. Israel maintains an occupied area called as a ‘security zone’ in South Lebanon and supports the South Lebanese Army Militia of Lahad, both were occupying the south of Lebanon to defend Israelis from Palestinian attacks, and both carried out number of massacres against Lebanese and Palestinian people.
Israel’s complicity in massacres in two Palestinian refugee camps increased Arab hostility and many other massacres like Beirut, Nabattiyeh, Abbasiyeh, Qana with hundreds of Lebanese civilians killed by Israelis. Talks between Israel and Lebanon , between Dec 1982 and May 1983, resulted in an agreement, drawn up by US secretary of state George Shultz, calling for the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Lebanon within three months. Syria refused to acknowledge the agreement, and left some 30,000 troops, with about 7,000 PLO members, in northeast, Israel retaliated by refusing to withdraw its forces from the south.
Meanwhile the problems in Lebanon continued. In 1984, under pressure from Syria, President Gemayel of Lebanon abrogated the 1983 treaty with Israel , but the government of national unity in Tel Aviv continued to plan the withdrawal of its forces. Guerrilla groups of the Lebanese resistant on south of Lebanon started their resistant against the Israeli occupation since 1985 when the main important resistant group in Lebanon which is Hezbollah was founded. Most of the withdrawal was complete by June 1985 except the south of Lebanon of what so called the ‘security zone’. The south of Lebanon was liberated by resistant operations when Israel withdraw in 25/5/2000. Israel still occupying Shebaa farms and other small areas until today.
Lebanon invasion , 1982
Palestinian uprising refers to a series of violent incidents between Palestinians and Israelis between 1987 and approximately 1990.
On December 8, 1987, an uprising began in Jabalya where hundreds burned tires and attacked the Israel Defense Forces stationed there. The uprising spread to other Palestinian refugee camps and eventually to Jerusalem, the eastern part of which was and is occupied by Israel. On December 22, the United Nations Security Council condemned Israel for violating Geneva Conventions due to the number of Palestinian deaths in these first few weeks of the Intifada.
Much of the Palestinian violence was low-tech; dozens of Palestinian teenagers would confront patrols of Israeli soldiers, showering them with rocks. However, at times this tactic gave way to Molotov cocktail attacks, over 100 hand grenade attacks and more than 500 attacks with guns or explosives. Many Israeli soldiers were killed this way. The IDF, in contrast, possessed the latest weaponry and defense technologies.
In 1988, the Palestinians initiated a nonviolent movement to withhold taxes collected and used by Israel to pay for the occupation of territories. When time in prison didn’t stop the activists, Israel crushed the boycott by imposing heavy fines while seizing and disposing of the equipment, furnishings, and goods from local stores, factories, and even homes. On April 19, 1988, a leader of the PLO, Abu Jihad, was assassinated in Tunis. During the resurgence of rioting that followed, about 16 Palestinians were killed. In November of the same year and October of the next, the United Nations General Assembly passed resolutions condemning Israel.
As the Intifada progressed, Israel introduced various riot control methods that had the effect of reducing the number of Palestinian fatalities. Another contributor to the high initial casualties was Yitzhak Rabin’s aggressive stance towards the Palestinians (notably including an exhortation to the IDF to “break the bones” of the demonstrators). His successor Moshe Arens subsequently proved to have a better understanding of pacification, which perhaps reflects in the lower casualty rates for the following years.
Attempts at the peace process in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict were made at the Madrid Conference of 1991.
Intifada , 1987 – 1991
On September 28, 2000 the Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon, with a Likud party delegation, and surrounded by hundreds of Israeli riot police, visited the mosque compound of the Al-Haram Al-Sharif (Temple Mount) in the Old City of Jerusalem. The mosque compound is the first Qibla of Muslims and the third holiest site in Islam. It also contains the area for the most holy site in Judaism. The pretext for Sharon’s visit of the mosque compound was to check complaints by Israeli archeologists that Muslim religious authorities had vandalized archeological remains beneath the surface of the mount during the conversion of the presumed Solomon’s Stables area into a mosque.
A group of Palestinian dignitaries came to protest the visit, as did three Arab Knesset Members. With the dignitaries watching from a safe distance.Palestinians saw Sharon’s visit as an assault on the Al-Aqsa Mosque. For this reason, the whole conflict is known as the Al-Aqsa Intifada. On September 29, 2000, the day after Sharon’s visit, following Friday prayers, large uprising broke out around Old Jerusalem during which several Palestinian demonstrators were shot dead. Already in the same day, the September 29, 2000, demonstrations broke out in the West Bank. In the days that followed, demonstrations erupted all over the West Bank and Gaza.

Israel-Gaza Conflict 2006
Israel maintains that it mobilized thousands of troops in order to suppress Qassam rocket fire against its civilian population and to secure the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit. It is estimated that between 7,000 and 9,000 heavy Israeli artillery shells have been fired into Gaza since September 2005, killing 80 Palestinians in 6 months. On the Palestinian side, approximately 1,000 Qassam missiles are believed to have been fired into Israel.
Israel has stated that it will withdraw from Gaza and end the operation as soon as Shalit is released. The Palestinians say the assault is aimed at toppling the democratically elected Hamas-led government and at destabilizing the Palestinian National Authority, citing the targeting of civilian infrastructure such as a power station and the captures of government and parliament members.
After Israel’s unilateral disengagement plan, pulling 9 thousand settlers from Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip in the summer of 2005, tensions had remained high in Gaza due to the continued shelling of areas in Israel with Qassam rocket attacks launched by Palestinians from Gaza into areas such as the Israeli city of Sderot, reported to have exceeded 800 rockets in the past seven months. Between the end of March and the end of May 2006, Israel fired at least 5,100 artillery shells into the Gaza Strip Qassam launching areas in an attempt to stop them from firing.
On June 9, during or shortly after an Israeli operation, an explosion occurred on a busy Gaza beach, killing eight Palestinian civilians.Other Israeli missile attacks included one on the Gaza highway on June 13 that killed 11 Palestinians and injured 30, and on June 20 that killed 3 Palestinians and wounded 15.
Hamas formally withdrew from its 16-month ceasefire on June 10, and began openly taking responsibility for the ongoing Qassam rocket attacks.
On June 24, 2006, Israeli commandos entered the Gaza Strip in the first capture raid into the Strip since Israel pulled out of Gaza in September 2005. In the raid they captured two Palestinians, identified by neighbors as brothers Osama Muamar, 31, and Mustafa, 20, who Israel claims are Hamas militants. Noam Chomsky has claimed in a recent interview that these two Palestinians were civilians, a doctor and his brother. Chomsky claims not to know the fate the kidnapped men.
CHOMSKY: There’s a theme that goes way back to the origins of Zionism. And it’s a very rational theme: “Let’s delay negotiations and diplomacy as long as possible, and meanwhile we’ll ‘build facts on the ground.'” So Israel will create the basis for what some eventual agreement will ratify, but the more they create, the more they construct, the better the agreement will be for their purposes. Those purposes are essentially to take over everything of value in the former Palestine and to undermine what’s left of the indigenous population.
On June 25, 2006, armed Palestinians crossed the border from the Gaza Strip into Israel via a makeshift tunnel and attacked an Israel Defense Forces post. During the morning attack, two Palestinian militants and two Israel Defense Force soldiers were killed and four others wounded, in addition to Corporal Gilad Shalit, who suffered a broken left hand and a light shoulder wound. Hamas claimed that the attack was carried out in response to the death of the Ralia family on north Gaza beach a few weeks before.
Shalit’s captors issued a series of statements demanding the release of all female Palestinian prisoners and all Palestinian prisoners under the age of 18. The statements came from Ezz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing Hamas), the Popular Resistance Committees (which includes members of Fatah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas), and the Army of Islam. More than 8,000 Palestinians are held as prisoners by the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Prisons Service. Approximately two thirds of these prisoners were convicted in court, while around ten percent are held without charge.

Dear Susan Life is Not Fair
Posted in November 15, 2010 by Marivel Guzman
Dear Susan life is not fair, and has not been less unfair for Palestinians since the Zionist Movement started at the beginning of the century.
The situation in Gaza is deplorable worse than in the West Bank, and we know that everything that we people of the world wanted to happen for the good of Peace in the world, will only going to be possible if WE THE PEOPLE take the initiative and the lead in our world affairs.
The time has come when we must move the strings of power by the only way that is possible, Economic boycott of the diverse industries that finance Israel development and growth.
Hollywood Movie Industry, Knows for their support to Israel and their continuous subliminal messages against Palestine Rights to Resist the Occupation, Christian Non Profit Organizations, givers of astronomical donations to finance illegal settlements in West Bank and East Jerusalem, and every product that it is in the BDS list that give economical life to the Zionist Entity Israel.
The most important is keeping the pressure to our leaders in the US to stop the economic help to Israel. And to stop being the spoiler in the United Nations resolutions against Israel war crimes and pressure Israel to comply with the more of 350 resolutions put in place by this body.

Israel of 2009 is a spoiled country, arrogant and condescending, convinced that it deserves everything and that it has the power to make a fool of America and the world.
Raising awareness in our children about the prospects for peace in the world, educating them about the evil enterprise that is the War Complex Machine and their multi-billion dollars money deals they make with Israel.

Bodies with dead tissues and no apparent wounds; 'shrunken' corpses; civilians with heavy damage to lower limbs that require amputation, which is nevertheless followed by unstoppable necrosis and death; descriptions of extensive internal wounds with no trace of shrapnel, corpses blackened but not burnt, and others heavily wounded that did not bleed
The only way we will make our governments stop acting with impunity is showing them that we are united, that we are a uni-voice, a strong force growing every day, that we can not stay silence with the crimes they perpetrate and silently cover up, that we are awake and aware of the situation in Palestine, and elsewhere in the world.
That Israel is an entity that needs to disappear from the face of the Earth, because is causing great threat to World Peace, and was founded under false pretenses, deception, lies and deceit. And since the creation of this entity, the world has been in a constant battle to support it, against the will of the population of the government that finance her.
There is no secret any more that the Nazi regime so much vilified by the founders of Israel were in concord agreement with the Nazis to transfer as many Jews and their properties to Palestine. We know more about the deception played to world to created Israel. They did not stop at murder to cover up their lies in their way to the creation of Israel.
We have sons and daughters, they are our future educated them.

World peace is an ideal of freedom, peace, and happiness among and within all nations and/or peoples. World peace is a Utopian idea of planetary non-violence by which nations willingly cooperate, either voluntarily or by virtue of a system of governance that prevents warfare. Although the term is sometimes used to refer to a cessation of all hostility among all individuals, world peace more commonly refers to a permanent end to global and regional wars with future conflicts resolved through nonviolent means.
We have sons and daughters, they are our future educated them on the issue of Peace. Educate them on the horrors of war and their profiteers and financiers.
Israel is the biggest arm dealer in the world. And she profits every time there is a death somewhere in the world. BE WAR OR just a random shoot out.
Facebook is just one outlet to spread the truth, they are hundreds of this socials networks that we can use to change our world.
We can not just complain that nothing is happening, because is happening.
We are a force growing. Do not let us be just few raising our voices.
Be a peace activist too, reading is good because you are getting informed, then do your part, share the posts to other walls, export them to others blogs, others channels, other spaces.
Myspace, youtube, meta cafe, tweeter, digg this,blogerspot,wordpress.com. I can search the net and find maybe thousands of this social networks.
Soon the change will become our reality. Do not be discouraged by the tragic events, we all take lessons and must move on, we must make changes to our advantage, and ACT in our behalf, in the name of a brighter future, that for some parts of the world is just Future a temporary word.
They live in the situation of “Be Or Not To Be” where the fight for their life is an everyday affair.
We ALL are thinkers and able to share our concerns and give ideas of how to do better. How to participate in our political process and our world affairs.
Do not let no one dictate you what is good for you, if what you are witnessing is injustice and struggle and does not feel good for you, probably is not good for anybody else.
We can not move on as a society if we permit this tragic events pass in front of our News, and Television Sets and think and pretend that will never happen to us.
We can not move on as a society if we stay indifferent to the pain of other human beings, and look the other way pretending everything is right and there is nothing to change.
If There got to be Freedom in any society, Justice must be the base of the same. Human Rights is an inalienable right of every human being, being Gaza, US, Germany, Lebanon, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba(should not exist),Cuba, China, Iran, Mexico, Congo, Russia..or any place on Earth that humans co-habit under any authority of any type.
Take your future in your hands. If you do not do it, others will do for you.
Then you will have no face to complain or time to ACT.
ACT NOW for your future and for the change you want to see.
ACT NOW for betterment of our society.

Lauren Booth’s Letter To Israel

Journalist Lauren Booth was on the first Free Gaza voyage and stayed to work in Gaza after the boats left.
Her heartfelt letter to the people of Israel should be read by everyone who hopes for peace in the Middle East.
This stunning video tribute to her words was designed and produced by the Free Gaza movement.
Make sure to share, every one has the right to know what The Moral Army of Israel is capable of.
Every one that knows has the obligation and the moral duty to inform others of the crimes committed in Occupied Palestine.
We need to raise our voices and stand for Justice and Peace. Palestinians needs your support.
The Samouni Family is one example of the thousands of families massacred in Gaza and in West Bank. This is not an isolated case, this is one that was known to the world.
Abdullah Abu Rahma Non-Violent Resistance Hero
Posted on August 30, 2010 By Marivel Guzman
A village teacher and one of the organizers of the weekly protests, said he was amazed at the military’s assertions [of protester violence, including of “rioters” throwing “Molotov cocktails”] as well as at its continuing arrests and imprisonment of village leaders.
“They want to destroy our movement because it is nonviolent,” he said. He added that some villagers might have tried, out of frustration, to cut through the fence since the court had ordered it moved and nothing had happened. But that is not the essence of the popular movement that he has helped lead.
This February, former President Jimmy Carter wrote on behalf of the Elders, the group of global leaders brought together by Nelson Mandela to promote peace:
We are especially concerned to hear that Abdallah Abu Rahma, the coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Bil’in, was detained in a night raid on 10 December last year and faces charges of incitement, stone throwing and organizing and participating in illegal marches. […] Abu Rahma is a middle-aged school teacher who eschews violence including stone throwing.
Catherine Ashton, Europe’s Hillary Clinton, protested the conviction. Why hasn’t Hillary done so?
Perhaps the failure of the U.S. media to simply report the news might have something to do with it?
You can ask Secretary of State Clinton to speak out, as Europe’s Catherine Ashton has, by calling the State Department’s comment line at 202-647-6575 and pressing 1.
Or you can use the State Department’s web form, choosing “E-mail a Question/Comment,” and topic “U.S. Foreign Policy/Middle East.” You could use a subject like “Conviction by Israeli court of Abdallah Abu Rahmah for nonviolent protest,” and a question like “I urge Secretary Clinton and other State Department officials to speak out against the conviction by Israeli military court of Abdallah Abu Rahmah for organizing nonviolent protests against the Israeli separation barrier in the West Bank, which has confiscated Palestinian land.”

The world has changed, the heroes are in every spot in the planet, they are regular citizens, they don’t wear a red hood or a mask, they don’t fly or read minds, who ever desire to be free and stand for his dreams and fight the occupiers with bare hands that is a hero worth remembering.
Every Palestinian is in his own merit a hero to remember, the silent resistant. Every Palestinian that never gave up their dream for an independent Palestine is silent hero.
They have fought The Zionist empire with almost bare hands, armed with only their dreams of freedom and their hands holding a Flag that means more than just a rug of cloth with colors.
The Palestine Flag is at the heart of every dissenter in the world, it means dreams for freedom, means occupation, blood, destruction, tears, torture, incarceration.
But more than anything means Love for your Home Land.
And in our mind the no Palestinians means brotherhood, fighting hand by hand with the brother that reach for help.
Help with your voice to raise awareness on Palestinians struggles, their suffering, their oppression that is worsening every day. Don’t wait for your leaders to do anything or for the Rich Media to report.
Use your power to unite with the world, help a family in Palestine, help a student to fulfill his dreams, write in your blogs, make a video of the crimes.
Be a silent hero, the future generation will thank your for it.
Gaza in our Hearts
Seems like long time, since we were watching some news of “Operation Cast”, the terrorizing assault that Israel inflicted in the powerless people of Gaza, the winter of 2009 and for 22 days, the sky lighted with white phosphorous fire, igniting the flesh of innocent civilians on the ground, the big media dissimulating the news flashing with blood, looking the other way.
For years we are accustomed to watch the news and think that if they take the time to broadcast, it was maybe some truth to the news, but in the recent years, we have come to the conclusion that big media is nothing but a well paid parade of well acted scripts, and photoshopsed pictures, that any highschooler can distinguish from real or fake.
Now, 18 months later, and in another show of force, Israel again attack the intellect of the people, crying victim again and our President Obama not wanting to stir the mood of the lobbyist, saying nothing in to the public to calm the rage, our rage, that been following and writing and supporting the Gaza Flotilla, to reach it end.
We wonder and yell, how can Israel can get away so easily with a PR campaign, we ask: Is there Justice in this world? Can anybody stop this monster? For how long we are going to stay in the sidelines. I’ve been writing and posting that the day is near for the calamity of the 21 century to see its end.
We the people can make it happen, as this monster is feed by money….Stop the bloodline to reach the heart….boycott Israeli products, and be strong and stop your urges to drink that smelly coffee from Starbucks. There are thousands of items, that we can stop using without even miss them.
The blood of the victims still fresh in the boat and Israel is already planing its next attack, do not stop talking of the Gaza Flotilla massacre, do not let the news die in the air, keep telling the story, and posting your rage.
We the people, are the only ones that care, because in this corporate world, We the People, are different from the corporate people, we the people are 6.5 billions and they are only a few…
We are The New Press; The Free Press of the world, we the people spreading the news, the truth, do not even bother in checking the big media is full of lies and deceit.
Write your own blogs, post your own videos and forget about the lies that do not feed but the monster ego, and coffers as they own those outlets.
Next time that you browse the net, do not forget that Gaza still suffer, that justice has not been served..
Fighting occupation in Palestine: Palestine is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
The UN reports that 70% of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are now living in acute poverty, a figure comparable to poverty levels in sub-Saharan Africa. Over 50% are now dependent on food aid.
Palestinians are not victims of a natural disaster. The poverty they are suffering is an acknowledged product of the Israeli occupation. According to the UK government’s Department for International Development: “Poverty in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is a product of occupation and conflict.” Only by ending the occupation can the root causes of poverty be addressed.
Israel’s recent assault on the people of Gaza in late 2008/early 2009 demonstrated the brutality of Israel’s army. The assault left over 1400 people dead and thousands more injured. It marked the culmination of a policy of collective punishment practised by Israel against the people of Gaza over the past 2 years.
Israel imposed a state of siege on Gaza in 2007 turning the world’s most densely populated area of land into the world’s most densely populated prison. John Dugard the former UN special rapporteur for human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories described the situation in Gaza before the attack as “collective strangulation” of a people.
Yet this is nothing new. Over the last 61 years Israel has continuously acted in defiance of UN resolutions, international law and global outrage. Through the continuing occupation, Israel has engaged in excessive and disproportionate force, house demolitions, targeted assassinations, detention of minors, detention without trial, attacks on water supplies, violation of the right to food and attacks on medical personnel and equipment. This, alongside the systematic and deliberate destruction of schools, hospitals, water systems, farmland and the building of an illegal Separation Wall, has destroyed any semblance of a Palestinian economy.
In addition, millions of Palestinians are still living with human rights abuses and crushing poverty in refugee camps as a result of the ‘nakba’, or catastrophe in which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were driven from their homes 61 years ago in the displacement that made the state of Israel possible.
The international community has largely ignored international law with respect to Israel’s crimes. Instead the British government amongst others has rewarded Israeli aggression with financial, military and diplomatic support.
The British government continues to license the sales of arms of Israel and in the first nine months of 2008 licensed the sale of 27 million pounds worth of military equipment.
As Israel’s principal trading partner, the European Union has been called on to suspend the trading preferences which Israel enjoys as a result of the EU-Israel Association Agreement. The Agreement is based upon respect for human rights, yet UN representatives have made clear these rights are regularly violated by Israeli forces.
Palestine is in crisis. We must put pressure on our government to play its part and end the injustice.
